One shirt, one ton.
One Ton CO2 purchases carbon offsets from the Chicago Climate Exchange. These offsets are traded on the Chicago Climate Exchange by owners of renewable energy, reforestation, CO2 sequestration, and biomass projects. Each project's carbon dioxide reduction is verified by a third party and quantified in metric tons. Credits in these reductions are sold to counter the emissions of others. We buy those credits and retire one ton of co2 for every shirt we sell.

We're all aware of the problem: Global warming
It's ok to feel as if there's nothing you can do about global warming. The enormity of the problem involves so many complex factors that it seems as if one person is powerless. We're changing that.
We all contribute to global warming, but as individuals do very little to reduce it. Everyone has a "carbon footprint": the total carbon dioxide emissions created just by conducting our daily lives.
Conserve, reduce, offset.
You can begin to fight global warming by reducing your carbon footprint through conservation and educated decisions: travel on foot, bicycle, or use mass transit when possible. Open windows instead of air conditioning; it's better for you as well. Install Energy Star™ appliances and fixtures. Shop locally. Become an advocate and tell your friends about what you are doing to reduce your impact.
Next step: The one ton co2 project. We invest in and promote regional CO2 offset projects. Our organic shirts offset one ton of CO2, are part of a limited edition tied to a specific type of offset project, shown in the design. You will know how you are making a difference.
A social movement begins one person at a time.
We're working to bring together a community of motivated, interested people because global warming is too big a problem for individuals to solve on their own.
Get involved.
By wearing an organic one ton co2 shirt you offset one ton of co2 emissions and raise awareness, not only of a specific offset project, but of the greater issue of global warming. What other shirt can do that?
